Köpmansgatan

Köpmansgatan runs through the whole of Nässjö’s commercial centre. Urban Design was commissioned to investigate its development potential along the entire stretch from the railway to Lake Ingsberg. The commission included producing a proposal for the development of the street and the squares adjoining Galleria Loket, Galleria Fenix and Myggans plats, which has become an important new arrival point in the town. The work treats the street as one continuous movement through the town rather than a series of separate places.
