Overview
The building has been sculpted for its site and sits like a rock in Fredhällsparken. A large part of its machinery lies underground and connects to the district heating network. The walls and roof are clad in Corten steel, with a grass roof cut into them. One wall is clad in fibre-cement panels bearing a text that describes the function of the pump house and the journey of energy from sun to home. The entire office was on site to mount the letters on the façade.
