The guiding design concept is based on the landscape tradition present on the site and historically found in the cultural landscape. In our analyses of Hagby äng, small scale, variation, contrasts, vegetation, landscape and ecosystem services have crystallised as self-evident building blocks and form the basis of our proposal. A small-scale development with 'active façades', where the buildings create the potential for social meeting places on shared entrance balconies, greenhouses and green courtyards.
