The serious subject matter is reflected in an austere form that gives focus and intimacy to a small number of carefully selected images, films and texts placed in monumental “funnels” of dark-stained wood. After being shown in Levande historia’s own premises, the exhibition tours the country, which has placed particular demands on its form and durability. A number of “stations” divide up the information in a clear way and give visitors the opportunity to choose the order in which they wish to experience its different parts. The modern form brings the important, older stories into our present day.
