Stockholm Rio

In our studies of the city’s periphery and the possibilities the future holds, we took on the E4 motorway from Kungens Kurva to Liljeholmen. The whole office surveyed different stretches of the road and studied ways of linking the two sides while reducing the impact of the traffic. The result was a wealth of insights, which we gathered into a four-metre-long sketch model. The project forms part of Urban Design’s internal development and research lab.
